John Cade – Scoutmaster and Nicole Cade – Troop Committee Chair

Welcome to Family Troop 207! We are honored to serve the youth and families of our community as the leadership team for our troop.

Our family has been actively involved in Scouting for over 10 years, and during that time we have dedicated ourselves to learning everything we can about the Scouting program. We believe that great leaders never stop learning, and we continue to attend training, work with experienced Scouters, and grow our knowledge so we can provide the best possible program for every Scout in Troop 207.

We have been married for many years and are blessed with two sons. Our youngest son, Joseph (14), is an active Scout who enjoys learning new skills and participating in outdoor adventures. Our oldest son, John Grady (20), earned the rank of Eagle Scout, and watching his journey through Scouting showed us firsthand how the program develops confidence, leadership, responsibility, and character.

Our family has proudly called the Hastings area home for more than 23 years. We love our small-town community and believe the young people here deserve the opportunity to experience a strong, local Scouting program without having to travel long distances. That vision is what inspired us to help establish Family Troop 207.

As leaders, our goal is to provide a safe, fun, challenging, and youth-led program where every Scout has the opportunity to grow. We want each Scout to build confidence, develop leadership skills, learn to serve others, enjoy the outdoors, and create lifelong friendships.

Family Troop 207 is proud to be chartered by First Baptist Church of Hastings, and we are committed to leading the troop in a way that reflects the church's Christian beliefs and values while delivering the outstanding Scouting America program.
